I am Ogochukwu Kelechi Onyeso, a dedicated physiotherapist, researcher, and educator with a passion for ageing, mobility, and population health. I obtained my PhD in Population Studies in Health at the University of Lethbridge. I have extensive experience in physiotherapy practice, academic research, and teaching. My work focuses on understanding the social and demographic factors influencing health outcomes, particularly among older adults.
With a background in medical rehabilitation and a Master’s in Physiotherapy, I have contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and interdisciplinary research projects. My expertise spans geriatrics, long-term care, physiotherapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, public health, and data analysis. I served as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Lethbridge, and I actively engage in knowledge dissemination through academic conferences and community health initiatives.
Beyond academia, I am passionate about translating research into practical solutions that improve mobility and quality of life for ageing populations. This blog is my space to share insights, research findings, and evidence-based discussions on population ageing and health sciences.
Let’s connect and explore the science behind movement, well-being, and ageing gracefully!
