Ogochukwu Kelechi Onyeso PT, PhD, CAnD3 Fellow,
Academic Gold Medalist of the Governor General of Canada.
Welcome to my e-portfolio, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about my academic and professional journey. My academic training includes a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (with a major in Physiotherapy), a Master’s degree in Orthopaedics, Sports, and Recreational Physiotherapy, and a PhD in Population Studies in Health from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. I am also a Fellow of the Consortium on Analytics for Data-Driven Decision-Making (CAnD3), and I bring over a decade of clinical physiotherapy experience to my work.
I have co-authored about 45 high-impact publications in peer-reviewed international journals. My research interests span health services delivery, administration and financing, clinical interventions, mobility among older adults, long-term care, and the sociodemographic determinants of health. I adopt a population-based mixed-methods approach, integrating both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to support evidence-informed decision-making in health policy and practice.
This e-portfolio showcases my scholarly contributions, ongoing research, and commitment to advancing equitable and data-driven approaches to health and ageing. I invite you to explore my work and connect with me for potential collaborations, knowledge exchange, or shared interests.
